WHAT I WORK WITH.
I work with attachment trauma and attachment wounds, anger and emotional reactivity, anxiety and overthinking, depression and low mood, emotional shutdown, overwhelm, avoidance, self-criticism, shame, relationship patterns, boundaries, emotional regulation, stress, loss of identity, difficulty expressing emotions and trauma-related responses.
Attachment trauma can influence how you experience safety, trust, abandonment, rejection, intimacy, connection and relationships. I support you to understand these patterns, recognise the ways you may have learned to protect yourself and begin developing greater emotional safety and healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others.
NOT ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL THERAPY
I don't believe in using one therapeutic modality for every person. You are an individual, and therapy should reflect that. I draw from IFS, CBT, ACT and somatic approaches depending on what you are experiencing, what is happening beneath the symptoms and what you need.
My work considers the mind, body, nervous system, attachment experiences and emotional world, allowing us to work not only with what you are experiencing now, but also with the patterns and experiences that may be contributing to it.
